Sights: Mutianyu Great Wall, Jiankou Great Wall
Pick you up at your hotel in Beijing at 7:30 am and drive to Mutianyu. You will start the hiking around 9 am,and it will take about 5 hours hiking on the wall.
Mutianyu offers a wonderfully satisfying experience of the Great Wall.It has breathtaking scenery, dense vegetation and many fine watch-towers in an excellent restored section which is about six meters wide. The brickwork is elaborate, with crenellations on both sides and finely curved eaves on some watch-tower roofs. There are decorative gables with animal statues, and tablets bearing calligraphy above some entrances.
The first one hour is going straight up and reach the wall, and then hike 10 restored towers. The wild wall to the west is the original Ming Dynasty wall with fine stonework. You will be rewarded when you approach Zhengbeilou Tower, where you will have a breathtaking view of Jiankou sectioin.
As soon as you finish the hiking, our guide will meet you and transfer you to local farmer’s house for a real lunch there. We will drive you back to your hotel after the hiking.

| This hiking will start from the restored section on Mutianyu, then continue to the wild wall westward to Jiankou.Jiankou is the steepest section of the wall around Beijing. When we complete the hiking and off the wall, you can see the beautiful view of Jiankou. There's a clear contrast of restored wall and the original wall. |

| Important Note: |
| 1.There is some debate as to whether trekkers are welcome on the Great Wall (see Rules and Regulations, below), but your best bet is the rugged six-mile (10-kilometer) stretch between Jinshanling and Simatai, 55 miles (89 kilometers) northeast of Beijing. Plan on taking at least four hours for the walk: The trail is stony and notoriously steep.
2.Other well-preserved and accessible sections of the "wildwall" are Huanghuacheng and Mutianyu, north of Beijing.
3.You should wear tough hiking boots, sunscreen and sunglasses, backpack, and snacks or energy supplements you want to have before lunch.
4.There is no any toilet along the path on the Wall. There are the toilets at the entrance of Jinshanling and Simatai. Please be prepared.
