By Air
There are daily flgihts from Kunming to Dali, Lijiang, and Jinghong. The price are hightest during national holidays. The airport is at the south end of Chuncheng Lu, in the city's southeastern section.
By Bus
Buses are still the main form of transportation in the region. Luxury buses with bathrooms are available at the Xizhan bus sation on Xichang Lu, north of Yieryi Dajie. Smaller buses are available outside the train station at the south end of Beijing Lu.
By Train
Because of the complex terrain of Yunnan, it always takes longer time to travel by train. While it would be a good choice when you 'a like to enjoy beautiful scenery aolong the way. The railway station is at the south end of Beijing Lu, Kunming city. There are trains head to cities Hekou, Yuxi, Dali and other cities in Yunnan Province. Meanwhile, there are trains avaliable to Guiyang, Chengdu, Nanning, and other cities abroad.
