Rail:The train adequately covers most of the country with good service and is normally quite punctual.Four different classes are available:the Soft Seat and the Soft Sleeper which are air conditioned and cushioned;and the Hard Seat and the Hard Sleeper,which are not cushioned,but less expensive.There is also the trans-Siberian rail that makes possible traveling to Europe from Beijing.The subway train system is only available in Beijing,Shanghai and Tianjin and is often very crowded during rush hour.
