Day 1

Tibet is all you’ve heard and everything you’ve imagined: a land of intense sunshine and towering
snowcapped peaks, where crystal-clear rivers and sapphire lakes irrigate terraced fields of golden
highland barley. The Tibetan people are extremely religious, viewing their daily toil and harsh
environment surrounding them as challenges along the path to life’s single goal, the attainment of
spiritual enlightenment. Lhasa is the capital of Tibet, Lhasa is a treasure trove of monasteries, palaces, and temples. It is the only sizeable city in Tibet, and center of Tibetan Buddhism. Upon arrival at Lhasa, our guide will meet you at the airport, and present you with Tibetan Traditional presenting Hada ceremony, then transfer you back to the hotel. You will relax the rest of the day to adjust yourself for high altitude. Dinner is included in the hotel.
Day 2

Sights: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street
After breakfast in the hotel, you will start to explore this mysterious land from visiting the Potala Palace- The gold clad roofs of the Potala Palace is the residence of Dalai Lama. A palace built by Songtsen Gampo stood on Marpori, the Red Mountain, in the 7th century. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit the Jokhang Temple- This temple is the most sacred building in all of Tibet. From the antique mural, statues, tapestries, and thangkhas, to the incense and anticipation of Tibetans pay homage day and night, the temple contains a plethora of sensory delights. Visiting the Tibetan family and walking around the Barkhor street-Circling the walls of the Jokhang Temple, the Barkhor is not only Tibetan Buddhism's holiest pilgrimage circuit but is also the best spot in Lhasa for people watching, will be the highlight of the day.
Day 3
City: Lhasa Transportation: Car Meal: B+L+D
Sights: Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, Norbulingka Park
After breakfast, you will visit the Drepung Monastery- built in 1416 by a pupil of Tsongkhapa, was for a long time the political headquarters of the Yellow Hat sect, Sera Monastery- This important Gelugpa monastery, founded in 1419, contains numerous temples filled with splendid murals and icons. And Norbingka Park- The 7th Dalai Lama, chose to build a summer palace on this site because of its medicinal spring, and later had his whole government moved here from the Potala Palace. We will serve you lunch at a local Tibetan restaurant, dinner will be on your own arrangement.
Day 4
City: Lhasa/Shigatse Transportation: Car Meal: B+L+D
Sights: Yamdrok Lake, Pelkhor Monastery
After breakfast in the hotel, we will drive you to Gyantse-With small villages of stone houses beside fields of highland barley, Gyantse feel far removed from Lhasa, although the drive is only about six hours. On the way, Yamdrok-tso Lake can be seen from the summit of the Kamba-la Pass (15728 ft). Yamdrok is one of the Three Holy Lake in Tibet (the other two are Namtso Lake and Lake Manasarovar). When you arrive at Gyantse, visit Pelkor Chode Monastery-one of the few multidenominational monastic complexes in Tibet, housing Gelugpa, Sakyapa, and Bupa monks, and home to the Gyantse Kumbum. Arrive at Shigatse, the rest of the day stay at leisure.
Day 5
City: Shigatse/Tingri/Rongbuk Transportation: Car Meal: B+L+D
Sights: Rongbuk Monastery
After breakfast in the hotel, our guide will dirve you to Rongbuk via Lhatse and Shegar, cross Gyatsola & Pangla Pass, where you will see the Himalaya Mountain Ranges in a clear day. Visit the world’s highest monastery, Rongbuk Monastery, on your way to Base Camp. There were once 500 monks living there, but now there are only 20 monks and 10 nuns who delight in the company of visitors. After lunch at a local restaurant, trek from Rongbuk to Mt. Everest Base Camp, which will take you about 2 hours. You may also take local sightseeing bus.
Day 6
City: Rongbuk/EBC/Shigats Transportation: Car Meal: B+L+D
Sights: Mt. Everest Base Camp
After breakfast in the hotel, you may walk about and watch the sunrise if you get up early enough. Later of the day, we will drive you back to Shigatse. It will be a long journey of about 6-7 hours. Upon arrival at Shigatse, the rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 7
City: Shigatse/Lhasa Transportation: Car Meal: B+L+D
Sights: Tashilunpo Monastery
After breakfast in the hotel, visit the Tashilunpo Monastery-This monastery is one of the six great Gelugpa institutions, and is the seat of the Panchen Lama and one of the few religious sites in Tibet not to be destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. Then we will drive you back to Lhasa along the Yarlong Tsangpo River by the Nepal friendship road. Our guide will take you to the Tibetan carpet workshop before transferring you back to the hotel. The rest of the day stay at leisure.
Day 8

Sights: Hotel-airport transfer service
After breakfast in the hotel, you will have a free morning on your own. After lunch at a local restaurant, our guide will transfer you to the airport or railway station for your onward flight or train departing Lhasa.
