World's first luxury hotel on aircraft carrier has finished its most constructions, and it will officially open to the public sometime in 2012. The hotel is built on a retired Kiev-class Soviet aircraft carrier, named "Kiev", which is the most important part of the Binhai Aircraft Theme Park.
The Hotel covers an area of 6,000 square meters. It was first built in May, 2010. The hotel includes 2 president suites, 3 VIP rooms, and 137 standard rooms. 
Though the hotel has not yet opened to the public, its western restaurant has been in operation since 22 December, 2011. It is the world's first western restaurant on an aircraft carrier.
As soon as you step into this western restaurant, the Europe design style will draw your attention. The wooden floor of primary colors, green wall paper, dark light in warm color, crystal droplight offer tourists an elegant dining environment. This is the unique restaurant in the world for tourists to have a special experience. You can enjoy the dances and singing performance while having your meals. What’s more, tourists can not only enjoy the feature food in the western restaurant, but also appreciate the grand aircraft carrier and flight deck via the window.
The Binhai Aircraft Theme Park is one of the most important destinations for tourists when travel to Tianjin. It was established in April, 2006. It is the unique attraction which enjoys the national 4A scenic spot in Binhai New District, east of Tianjin city. The park covers an area of 80,000 square meters. The most important attraction in this military theme park is the Soviet aircraft carrier, named Kiev, which was sold to China in 1996.
